Dive into the heart of irrigation innovation: #FairPARIIS2023 is the event you can’t miss!
Irrigation innovation has never been more vital, especially in the face of climatic challenges that are increasingly affecting our land and water resources. In this light, the Network of Farmer Organizations and Agricultural Producers of West Africa (ROPPA), in close collaboration with the Permanent Inter-State Committee for Drought Control in the Sahel (CILSS) within the framework of the Regional Support Project for the Sahel Irrigation Initiative (PARIIS), invites you to an immersive experience centered on co-constructed irrigation solutions from 22nd to 24th November 2023, in Senegal.
The Sahel region, with its climate variability, is continually facing rising challenges. The demand for water in agriculture is intensifying, making it essential to develop innovative strategies to optimize the use of this valuable resource. This regional fair is not just a gathering of experts and professionals but also a platform for exchange, sharing, and inspiration for all those eager to delve into the intricacies of modern irrigation.
On the agenda, plenary sessions dedicated to specific irrigation solutions for each Sahelian country, ranging from Burkina Faso to Mauritania, through Mali, Niger, Senegal, and Chad. The fair will highlight insightful discussions on the role of stakeholders in adopting and scaling irrigation solutions, financing strategies, and policies aimed at promoting irrigation systems in the Sahel.
This fair also offers a unique opportunity to meet exhibitors unveiling their latest products and innovations, engage in enlightening discussions, and, most importantly, forge lasting ties with potential partners. Participants can anticipate unmatched networking opportunities during booth visits and B2B sessions.
The event will culminate with a day dedicated to the winners of the best irrigation innovation contest. It’s an opportunity for innovators to have their efforts acknowledged and for the public to appreciate the talent and creativity of those involved in this field.
Whether you’re a professional in the field, a passionate student, or just curious about advancements in Sahel’s irrigation, this is the ideal place in November. Every moment promises to be a journey of discovery and connection.
